<Short Version>

I run k0k1man.com as a personal lab, portfolio, and playground. I’m not in the business of selling your data, building creepy profiles, or running a hidden ad tech stack behind the scenes.

I collect just enough information to keep the site working, understand how people use the tools, and improve what I build.

<What I Collect>

Depending on what you do on the site, I may collect:

Basic analytics data (pages viewed, referrer, device/browser type).
IP address and request metadata when you use tools that call external APIs or when logging suspicious activity / abuse.
Tool input and results for debugging, usage statistics, and improving features.
Form submissions (name, email, message) when you contact me.

Some of this is collected via server logs, some via analytics platforms (for example Google Analytics / Tag Manager), and some via the database that powers the tools.

<How I Use This Data>

I use data mainly for:

Running the site and keeping it secure and functional.
Measuring usage of tools and pages (what is used, what is ignored).
Debugging errors, timeouts, and performance issues.
Replying to you when you reach out via forms or email.

If I ever use anonymized or aggregated data to show benchmarks, examples, or case studies, I will keep personally identifiable information out of it.

<Cookies & Third-Party Tools>

The site may use cookies and similar technologies for:

Basic functionality (for example, remembering logins where applicable).
Analytics (for example GA4, Tag Manager events).
Security and abuse prevention.

Third-party providers (for example Google) may also collect and process data according to their own privacy policies. When I choose a provider, I look for widely-used, well-documented services with a clear stance on data handling.

<How Long Data Is Kept>

I keep data only as long as it’s reasonably useful for:

Operating and securing the tools.
Understanding usage patterns and performance.
Honoring legal, tax, or accounting requirements if/when applicable.

When data is no longer needed, it may be deleted, anonymized, or stored only in aggregated form.

You always have choices in how you use this site:

Use privacy-focused browsers, plug-ins, or settings to limit tracking.
Decline to submit forms or personal details if you’re not comfortable.
Reach out if you want to ask what information related to you I may have stored.

If you contact me about your data, I’ll do my best to respond within a reasonable timeframe based on the information available.
